These are a particular favorite of ours, made from scratch by us to Jim's secret recipe. They won a gold award a few years ago in Scotland against the native haggis!
Much like their native cousins these haggis are small and have quite a dense coat to keep them warm, but unlike the mountain dwelling variety all their legs are the same length! Only joking.....although when the local paper did a piece on the gold award Jim did tell them that they'd adapted well to life on the Wold's in a small paddock at the back of the farmyard, which the reporter frantically scribbled down..... and printed in the paper!
They have a nice peppery flavour and go perfectly with a whiskey sauce, simple and easy to cook, we always recommend wrapping the haggis in tin foil and then oven roasting at 180c for about an hour, or microwaving rather than in a pan of water.
