With the better weather thoughts turn to alfresco dining and what could be more appropriate than a good old fashioned picnic!? So we've miniaturised our famous Traditional Pork Pies to create these delicious little Picnic Pork Pies, they're just the perfect size for picnicing, buffets, outdoor gatherings and road trips.

Rich hot water crust pastry encases coarsely ground local rare breed pork, seasoned with salt, white pepper, nutmeg and mace. This simple seasoning doesn't contain a cure so results in a traditional grey meat center.

They are a more open texture compared to mass produced pies, but being made to a 100 year old Lincolnshire farmhouse recipe they are like a good old fashioned pie used to be.

They make a fantastic addition to a cold meat platter, picnic or are delicious simply enjoyed with a glass of wine.
