The newest butter to join the Abernathy stable of butters, and what a fantastic addition it is! Made by combining their fabulous creamy butter with the classic flavour of black truffle which added when the cream is being churned to ensure a smooth creamy butter that's not over worked like most flavoured butters. The flavour balance is perfect not overpowering so it complements whatever you use it with..... melted onto a steak is our recommendation. Due to the decadent ingredients this but is a little more expensive to produce and is reflected in it's price, but it's worth every penny.
Allison and Will Abernethy inherited their butter making skills from previous family generations and in 2005 decided to turn their hobby into a business. Initially going to local agricultural and vintage shows to demonstrate how cream is churned and turned into butter, they soon realised there was a demand for their product.
Abernethy Butter is handmade using cream local to their dairy in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. lovingly churned and patted into rolls, to give a luxurious creamy taste.
